Alexis Ames manages CAT’s Tenant Engagement & Advocacy work. Alexis is a lifelong Pacific Northwest native who cares deeply about housing stability and community strength. She has spent the past four years with the Community Alliance of Tenants working alongside renters to build tenant unions, expand leadership opportunities, and ensure tenants understand their rights. As a mother of two, she is driven by the belief that safe, stable housing is foundational for families and communities to thrive. Alexis is especially motivated by helping tenants feel confident, informed, and empowered to stand up for themselves.
